Our compostable paper
food cups are made with a biodegradable coating on
the inside and outside of the cups whereas other
paper food cups have a petrochemical-based coating.
The coating is
made from Nature-Works PLA, which comes from 100%
corn. They perform the same as conventional
soup cups or conventional ice cream cups.
These cups will
biodegrade in a commercial composting environment in
approximately 45 days. |
